New Writing South One Day Retreat

We just hosted our very first one day retreat here at Bishop’s Lodge in collaboration with the brilliant New Writing South and it was a blast! The British summer weather didn’t let us down and delivered the usual combination of sun, rain and wind in alternating and unpredictable cycles but we prevailed. Our guests talked and wrote and ate and connected and created! We learnt some lessons on being better retreat hosts (more thermos flasks! Don’t bank on the weather!) but everyone had a fantastic time and we can’t wait to do it again.
